What a special place. Basic, honest guest house in rural Ashanti with delicious food, beautiful gardens, lovely communal spaces and wonderful people. They arrange local tours and itineraries to places of interest, while investing back in the community. You feel part of a family here and can get more of an insight into Ghanaian life than I thought possible in a short period time. Thanks especially to Pat, Ike, Salo and team who made our stay so lovely. We hope to return!
I needed to be in Effiduase for the week and was looking for a place to stay that would be outside of the city, and I’m so happy I found this place!! It was a little garden oasis away from the noise. I’m really grateful for the warm welcome and the wonderful hosts. I have celiac and all the meals were adjusted to be gluten-free for me. The cassava pancakes were incredible. Thanks for everything!
We only stayed one night but had a lovely time at this hostel. The garden is beautiful, we loved relaxing and eating there. The tour organised through the hostel of the prayer camp was amazing too. The food we had was really good, despite us being veggie too, they even had a bean substitute in our salad for lunch. Delicious! I would recommend staying here if you are happy with basic but good, relaxing accomodation, and an authentic experience in a local area.

To be honest, this guest house is like a second home to tourists who love to be in nature ,meet beautiful people ,explore hidden attractions in the Ashanti area and moreso support community development charity projects.
For the food, it’s the best so far for me concerning other guesthouse I’ve been!
