We offer amazing weekendtrips and 3/4 day Ashanti tours, but we realise that you might not have much time to spend with us at BWO.
So especially for the traveller in Ghana who wants to make the most of their time at BWO Hostel we created 4 different experiences.
Dive deep into our nature, culture or both, together with our amazing tourguides during the carefully planned Ashanti Adventures!
Choose the Ashanti experience that fits you!
Mountain Experience
Choose between two unique mountains: the Prayer Mountain, known for its lively churches and prayer camps, or the Mountain of Mercy, a calmer and quieter alternative with a slightly more challenging climb. This trip also includes a village tour and a hands-on traditional cooking workshop.
Price: GHS 450 for 1 person, GHS 400 per person for groups of 2 or more.
Craft & Culture Journey
Immerse yourself in Ghanaian craftsmanship with stops at Odomankoma for a Kente weaving and cocoa tour, Ntonso for Adinkra stamping, and Besease shrine for a cultural experience. A local lunch is included.
Price: GHS 950 for 1 person, GHS 850 per person for groups of 2 or more.
The prices are excluding accommodation, including entrance fee, tourguide, transportation and lunch.
Kumasi Heritage Tour
Dive into the vibrant history of Ghana’s Ashanti region.
Visit Manhyia Palace, Kejetia Market, the Cultural Center, and enjoy a delicious local lunch.
Price: GHS 1000 for 1 person, GHS 900 per person for groups of 2 or more.
Bomfobiri Nature Expedition
Escape to the stunning Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary, complemented by a visit to a local restaurant and market to complete the day.
Price: GHS 950 for 1 person, GHS 850 per person for groups of 2 or more.
How to book your daytrip of choice
We recommend booking the day experiences in advance so that you can be certain that there is a tourguide available for you!
